• Flashback Thursday – 1994 Edition

Image of 9 year old Lily's original writing on her trip to a farm.

I thought it would be fun to start a new tradition. Welcome to the first edition of Flashback Thursday, where I post an old writing on the last Thursday of every month. This month, we’re going back to 1994.

  • New Moon Ritual – Wild Woman Oracle – March 2026

Card #35, Home At Last (Aloneness) from the Wild Woman Oracle deck by Cheyenne Zárate. The card features a detailed ink illustration of a woman in a Victorian-style dress sitting in an armchair, reading a book by firelight. A cat perches on the chair behind her. Around her are stacked books, an open journal, and a lit candle. A clock hangs on the wall and bare tree branches are visible through a curtained window. The card has a warm rose gold border with the title and subtitle printed beneath the illustration.

The new moon in March brought me a card I wasn’t expecting, #35, Home At Last (Aloneness). My first reaction? That I’d be alone forever. But Lilith had something deeper in mind.

I’m Lily

Lily Lulonut, a woman with long red hair wearing a wide-brimmed grey hat and fae ears, standing outdoors in natural light.

I’m Lily Lulonut. I’m a writer, a witch, and a devoted servant of Lilith. I write everything from poetry to personal essays. My life, my craft, my transition, and everything in between. A little dark, a little nerdy, and always honest.
